At the heart of our business operating system is a set of principles that keeps us working toward the same goals and values that we live by each day. The principles are based on creating a lean, problem-solving culture that empowers everyone to better serve our customers through creating innovative products, eliminating waste from our processes, and delivering the exceptional standards we expect in our work.
Above all else, we operate safely. Our goal is zero serious injuries or fatalities because we want every associate to go home at the end of their day. By setting and communicating our shared safety standards, we empower every JELD-WEN associate to intervene and stop work to address at-risk conditions immediately, without fear of retaliation.
