Our founder Richard “Dick” Wendt and partners bought a millwork plant at auction in 1960 and turned JELD-WEN into an industry-leading, global building products organization. We are makers, first and foremost. Makers of high-quality products that deliver on form and function. Makers of a lasting impression on people and the planet.
